Re: new here
Yeah. one more newbie. I really love the strip. I've been exploring the webcomic world, and I'm going nuts. The art and story lines are wonderful. I think my favorite is when Jess falls down, the charachter asks if she's ok, and up comes the thumb. That gets a giggle out of me every time. I'm glad this is a fairlynew strip, 'cause when I find one I like, I have to go to the beginning and read it all. That can take a while.

Re: new here
Thanks and welcome ^^
When I first came up with that gag, I thought it was gonna be lame or something but people seem to really love it and they love it more when I use it again... I'm glad that it didn't turn out lame, ha ha ha ha

Re: new here
Ah, I knew there had to be a "I'm new" thread somewhere.
Anyhow: I don't usually sign up for any random comic forum. In fact, this is only the second web comic based forum that I've added myself to (out of the little pile of web comics I read).
I was taken in by the artistry first (of course, my weakness) and the story kept me in as I skimmed and eventually went to the start and sank in. Great characters that have a good place to grow and I like where the story is going so far (taking into consideration that it is fairly new)!
Also (if the artist is reading) I was wondering who your inspirations are? I'm getting a real John Romita Jr. feeling here (though a bit softer on the angles). That's what drew me in originally (though I had to find that out....I knew your art reminded me of someone).
Well, in conclusion I like the art a whole lot and I'm interested to see where the story goes! Good luck and keep up the good work! I'll be watching....ominously. Well alright, just regularly.

Re: new here
Hi and welcome ^^ I'm glad you like the comic.
As for my influence, yes, John Romita jr. plays a huge part in my art, I am a big fan of his and love his work to death... but I also am influenced by Stuart Immonen and Rodolphe Guenoden alongside Takehiko Inoue and Masamune Shirow. These are the biggest influences I have in my art, but there's more, of course, since I have a lot of favourite artists, but these that I named are pretty heavy on my art.
